Welcome to the Anachronic Archives. A collection of my lost-and-found indie games from another era — recovered and preserved as part of my digital footprint.
Between 2013 and 2017, I made a string of small games and prototypes under the name Anachronic Designs. Some were built for jams, some for mobile, some just to see if I could. Over the years, the projects scattered — old drives, dead emails, vanished store listings — until I began the slow work of piecing them back together.
These archives are that recovery effort: a personal time capsule of bright pixels, toy-keyboard soundtracks, and late-night experiments. Each entry reflects a stage of learning — from early Unity prototypes to polished (at the time) mobile releases — and a moment in life where creativity filled the quiet hours before work, after bedtime, or between commutes.
They’re not perfect. Some are messy, janky, even a little absurd. But they’re all part of the same story: one indie developer chasing ideas across time, keeping a promise to never stop making things. Now, I just make different types of things :)
At Anachronic Games, I aimed to design small, contained interactive worlds with words, code, and pixels. Every project here is an experiment in storytelling: blending gameplay mechanics with narrative tone to create experiences that are both playful and thought-provoking.
Shortform games and prototypes built in Unity, exploring narrative, design, and user journeys.
Legacy builds that show my roots in interactive writing and world-building.
Projects released on itch.io to reach a global audience and test ideas directly with players.
Each release is more than just a game — it’s a proof of concept in digital communication:
Audience-first design — crafting experiences around user needs and expectations.
Clarity + creativity — balancing accessibility with imaginative flair.
Iterative storytelling — testing, refining, and publishing in cycles, guided by real user feedback.
By publishing here, I practice the same skills central to my current work as a communications professional: shaping messages for diverse audiences, collaborating across design and development, and adapting tone and structure to different formats. My background in technical writing and marketing overlaps naturally with game design — each demands precision, empathy, and a focus on usability.
Every brand leaves digital fossils. In my case, I still have an old WordPress site from my early dev days — and I can’t take it down because the recovery email is long gone. At first I was annoyed, but now I think of it as a time capsule: proof that I’ve been experimenting with digital design and storytelling for over a decade. It’s a funny reminder that in tech you don’t always control every artifact you leave behind — but you can always build forward.
You can find some of my other digital footprints on GameJolt.
Note: Some of my older Android apps may appear on third-party APK sites. These are unauthorized distributions and may contain outdated versions subject to security vulnerabilities discovered later in the Unity platform. I don’t control or update those files — if you choose to sideload them, please do so at your own risk. Many of the APKs provided here were built over a decade ago, and may require legacy device configuration settings on modern devices.
